<p>As of 1 April 2025, Cumbria Safeguarding Children Partnership has been replaced by two new Multi-Agency Safeguarding Arrangements:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Cumberland Safeguarding Children Partnership</strong> will cover the footprint of Cumberland Council;</li>
<li><strong>Westmorland and Furness Safeguarding Children Partnership</strong> will cover the footprint of Westmorland and Furness Council.</li>
</ul>
<p>However, during a transitional period, the multi-agency procedures and guidance included within this tri.x Manual will remain Cumbria wide.</p>
<p>New Manuals, specifically for Cumberland or Westmorland &amp; Furness, will be launched in February 2026. In the meantime, please continue to use the multi-agency procedures and guidance within this Manual.&nbsp;</p>
